BATON ROUGE, La. — MMR is proud to announce that it was named one of Baton Rouge’s “Best Places to Work” for the fourth year by Greater Baton Rouge Business Report and the Greater Baton Rouge Society of Human Resource Management (GBR SHRM). MMR climbed five places from last year’s spot on the list, ranking 10th in the “Large Company: 250 or More U.S. Employees” category.

“MMR is dedicated to fostering a workplace where every individual feels valued, inspired and empowered to achieve their best,” said MMR President/CEO James B. ‘Pepper’ Rutland. “We are honored to receive this prestigious recognition, which is testament to the talent, passion and collaborative spirit of our workforce. Our employees have shown a remarkable commitment to making MMR one of the best places to work in the Capital Region.”

Companies named on the list prove a sound commitment to their employees, demonstrating excellence in employee experience, workplace culture, management relationships, professional development and leadership. Business Report honored and recognized this year’s winners with a ceremony at The Crowne Plaza in Baton Rouge, La. on Tuesday, October 3.

The Best Places to Work Program identifies, recognizes and honors outstanding places of employment in the nine-parish Capital Region using a rigorous two-part selection program. Business Report partnered with GBR SHRM and Workforce Research Group (WRG) to pinpoint defining factors of extraordinary workplaces in the Baton Rouge community. WRG first evaluated each company’s workplace policies and practices, then surveyed employees to measure the employee experience. Analysts used employee responses as well as an employer survey to determine the final rankings.
